About this route
A difficult-to-extreme circular ride at Bokpoort Cowboy Ranch outside Clarens, climbing from 1,800m up grassy, game-filled ridges and amber sandstone to roughly 2,500m at George's Pimple, with 360-degree views over the Malutis and into Lesotho. The leg-breaking jeep-track and singletrack climb here is the steepest section of the annual Amohela Clarens MTB Classic.
