Been servicing my bike with Gear Change for almost ten years and Justin and the Team are all about the client and all about your bike. Won't take my bike anywhere else. They never try to upsell you like some bike shops do, they recommend what makes sense for you and your bike, and are just lekker down to earth guys. Highly recommended.

I purchased a used bicycle from Bike hub advertised by Gear Change assuming a professional shop would vet their listings. I was wrong. (images show the bicycle displayed in the store) Because the listing was through a physical, local bike shop, I felt confident that the bike would be in the condition described. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The Problem: My mechanic found both front and rear bearings needed immediate replacement before the first ride. A nice modern bicycle shop with a wide array of bikes and accessories- the latest gadgets and stuff. Sleek modern interior with a coffee nook tucked away in a corner- perfect for the hippie-chic crowd. The staffers were friendly- I was helped by a very knowledgeable and helpful chap Tyrone, who gave me advice on all I needed. He even gave directions on how to procure the one item they didn't have. We worked with the Gear Change crew at Cape Epic in 2025. The service they delivered was incredible, both before the event and after every stage. The attention to detail was next level. The service each day gave me confidence that my bike was 100% ready for the racing. I would highly recommend working with Gear Change.

Super happy with my purchase and the service I have received from Andrew. Very accommodating and answered any query I had. When I had a small niggle with the bike, the workshop quickly and effectively sorted the issue and put any concerns I had to bed. Good to see quality service still exists at some stores.
