The place is easy to locate and offers a refreshing atmosphere with a restaurant, shops, and a variety of activities. It is very child-friendly, with beautifully maintained gardens that create a serene and inviting environment. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the hiking experience was absolutely amazing, offering scenic views and a refreshing outdoor escape. We spent the weekend at the BnB and it was the perfect couples getaway! From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and make our anniversary unforgettable. Mvelo and Smangele went above and beyond to arrange our romantic picnic and suggest the best hike routes. The onsite restaurant was also incredible and every meal we had here exceeded our expectation . They are a hands down a must visit!

Giba Gorge never fails to amaze me! I’ve been there quite a few times, and yet every visit brings something new to discover. From the walk to the first waterfall, to the hike up to Mackintosh Falls, and even the white hut — it’s all beautiful. The road/path from the signboard to the gate is currently being paved, so it will soon be much more accessible and comfortable to drive, as it used to be more of a dirt road. Giba Gorge is honestly a hidden gem. The place is amazing, extremely clean, and very well maintained. There is no litter anywhere and you can clearly see that it is well looked after. The atmosphere is lively but still peaceful, and the staff are very friendly, always willing to help, answer questions, and direct you where you need to go. There are several hiking trails available. We did the shortest one and it was absolutely beautiful. It is calm, surrounded by nature, with flowing rivers and no pollution. The scenery is serene and the waterfall was a great experience. Giba Gorge has fantastic mountain bike trails and is a must visit venue for any trip to KZN. If you like fast flowing single tracks then this is the place for you. If you do down hill or enduro mountain biking then you will love their jumps and berms. Last but not least, Giba Graze has delicious refreshments to enjoy after an epic adventure.
