Monties Cycle & Sport

Recently took part in the ironman mosselbay and had some work done on me and my brothers bike's before the race and unfortunately the service we received was really poor. And I do understand a event like this a lot of work that needs to be done on a lot of bikes but I still expect that if I am going to pay a premium price I can at least expect good work When we picked up our bikes handel bar plugs missing some of my rubber grommets that protects the inner cabling gone bolts not fastened had to give my bike basically a new service on my own and after the race spoke to a few other competitors th

Took my road bicycle in to be serviced and also to replace all the rusted bolts. When I got home I went for a ride. I went down a very steep hill towards a busy main road then my steering wheel shifted downwards, I couldn’t use the breaks because they where out of reach at that point so I had to jump off. They didn’t replace any of my bolts instead they just loosened all of them and gave my bike back just like that. It could have been a very bad crash. I also phoned them and explained to the manager what had happened and he said sorry they should have torqued the bolts, then he asked if there
