I nearly had a big crash, due to West Rand Cycles not doing their due diligence whilst assessing and cleaning my bottom bracket. I took it in for a sound in the BB. When I collected it, they mentioned they had cleaned it, nothing else was wrong. The next day I went for a ride, 10km in, my front bottom ring had come off and gotten stuck. I recently purchased a Specialized bicycle from West Rand Cycles and was thoroughly impressed with the service I received. Eben, the owner, was involved, ensuring a smooth process, and a special thanks to Junior for being such a professional and patient salesperson. As I am an analytical person, I appreciated Junior’s thorough assistance throughout the sales process. My advice: you get what you pay for, and if you can afford a Specialized, go for it—it’s an amazing bike. Highly recommend these guys!
